I feel like it’s been AGES since we’ve a) seen a good coffee festival in Vancouver and b) done a giveaway on the website. So how about I make both of your dreams come true in a way that only a snobby, entitled, halfwit like myself can do!
The first thing I’m going to do is contradict myself, because I’m nothing to do with setting up the new coffee festival – Beanstock. But instead how about I give you a quick lowdown of what to expect:
The Festival is being held on the 26th November at 298 Alexander St
There are three sessions – 10am, 12pm and 2pm
Nano/Micro/Small Batch roasters (Groundswell, Pallet, Agro, Modus and more) from across the city will be showcasing their beans and pouring coffee all day for you. Unlimited samples: Drink until you can hear colours!
There’ll be cocktails: Drink until you can’t feel feelings!
You’ll get goodie bags: Don’t drink these.
There’ll be education sessions: Drink more coffee!
My favourite part: The focus is on drinks and roasters, not sponsors.
My other favourite part: This is hosted by some of my absolute favourite people in the industry.
